Most of Southlake went up in one long stretch through the 1990s and 2000s, and the houses were built well. The problem is rarely the structure. It is the finish package that came with them. Dark stained cabinets, tumbled travertine everywhere, glazed and faux-painted walls, arched niches cut into the drywall, a two story entry with a chandelier hung for a room nobody uses. Those houses do not need to be rebuilt. They need the 2004 taken out of them.
