A Sophisticated Family Kitchen with Custom Built-In Comfort

This modern kitchen renovation brought together functionality, warmth, and elevated design for a busy family in Prosper, TX. We installed new custom cabinetry with brass hardware for a timeless, refined foundation, then added a decorative subway tile backsplash to bring texture and continuity across the space. Above the stove, a bold black-and-white patterned tile was introduced as a statement feature, adding contrast and a modern design moment.

To enhance the overall aesthetic, we painted the pantry door black for a clean architectural touch and installed gold and black pendant lighting to introduce a subtle sense of glam. A previously unused bench seating area was reimagined with custom navy blue upholstery and a tailored valance, tying the kitchen into the adjoining living room while improving comfort and function for a large family. The result is a cohesive, highly functional kitchen that feels stylish, intentional, and built for everyday living.
